Kissler's Cyclery, when it was still downtown. It later moved to Beaverton, but we were beyond bikes by that time.

As was the case at many downtown businesses, my dad had a guy at Kissler's who always helped with our bicycle needs. I think having a guy in all the businesses used to be a thing.

I had a Schwinn American 2 speed kick-back and rode the hell out of it. Then I was presented with a 5 speed Schwinn at Christmas because I outgrew that 20 incher. I miss the Made in America molybdenum framed bikes.

I'd forgotten about the kick-back shift. Don't suppose they still make those.
