I think Van Brocklin was 34-35 yrs old in 1960 and in his last year of NFL. Later that year (Dec 26) he led the Eagles to a 17-13 victory over Green Bay in the NFL Championship game. The Eagles had 10-2 best NFL regular season record. Pretty good for an "old" guy who was one of the Ducks all-time best QB's.
Harry had remarkable foresight. Considering the Falcons didn't join the league until '65 it's amazing he booked them in '60.
