The Salem Gay Blade men's store on the corner of Liberty and Court Streets in around 1968. I don't recall how many stores Marv Horenstein had but it could have been around ten. We did lots of radio ads in the early 1970's. He had a tough re-naming task that never really worked out.

Proof of evolution. Two words that completely changed their meaning over a couple of decades. From a suave, debonair male to a homosexual cad.

Need more proof. Look at the way the women are dressed.
