what headline?

john, look very carefully at the top of the page, just below the "StumptownBlogger" banner. See the little black arrow pointing to the right? Next to it, it says, "ALASKA AIRLINES HAS GONE TO SHIT. SELECT ANOTHER AIRLINE." That headline.

this implies there is some kind of article or story, but there is not?

How does "HEADLINE IS ALL YOU NEED" suggest an article?

For Chrisx sake Joel, that's what a headline is!!
From the google box....
HEADLINE: a heading at the top of an article or page in a newspaper or magazine.

Before you decide to jump down someone's throat, try reading through the whole thread.

Rather uncalled for,Bill..I tend to be faster than a speeding tongue when it comes to responses, but even in my advancing age will read through all prior commentary prior to expressing my opinion. And yes, I did consider the whole headline... but I was reading Readers Digest at 5, and learning from Word Power in the magazine. And I am in the same age bracket as Joel, john, and our beloved Mr Stump.
