What's to "remember"??
This is what we have in Oregon.
We're not "self serve" here and my wife is damn glad of it.
(Wash State IS "self service.")
Some Portland gas stations even have workers (men and women) dress up in cutesy uniforms, sorta like the guy in the picture.

I vaguely recall the days of the smiling SERVICE station attendants coming on a jog, asking how they can help you, checking oil, water, washing windscreens, and in uniforms... I dont mind pumping my own gas, I ve done it often, though I live in Portland, but these are nice memories.
