Bernard's Beaverton Mall/Cedar Hills Crossing has been rebuilt so many times over its 50-year history, but it keeps growing. The central mall is getting rather moribund, but all of the surrounding businesses are thriving.

The mall started out as the Payless Drug store and a procession of grocery stores, including Keil's (another long gone name), and a handful of shops. Then they added a huge extension including Emporium and GI Joe.

The Mall was surrounded by parking at the beginning. That parking has been slowly consumed by numerous additional outbuildings. It's the outbuildings where the successful busomnesses are lcoated.
