This photo is not from 1930, but was published in the Morning Oregonian on March 27, 1927 (p-8) at the Northwestern Bank at 6th & Morrison.
On Saturday customers started receiving anonymous calls that the bank was about to fail, and told to withdraw their money, so before opening crowds formed outside on Monday March 28th, and by the time the bank closed it was hopeless and they decided to liquidate.
