The Corbett building was brought down by implosion on 5/1/88 to make way for Pioneer Place shopping. Watch it happen on YouTube

Tragic loss, the beautiful architecture..Portland should be ashamed. All of the lovely homes and buildings being demolished for "progress", developers' greed, and now Hardesty and that ignorant wipe out single family homes for duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, screw affordable housing for lower incomes.. OUT, HARDESTY!!
