They had a program 'Stereo Jazz' in the evening. I only had an AM radio and they would sign off in the middle of it, at sunset. For some reason I associate that station with Trini Lopez and Brasil 66. Maybe 1966 was around the time I was listening to it.

Stephen • you are correct . In 67-68 KPFM had a very cool format playing Sinatra, light pop like Classics 4, Bacharach, Supremes, JAZZ, .... DJ’s were the great Bob McAnulty, George Goode, John Edward’s who’s parents owned KKEY & later became the voice of ABC TV - Radio in San Francisco. They even had an underground rock show on Saturday nights called Nightflight with Dan Foley ( midnight ) .... first time I heard Jimi Hendrix on FM radio.
