The restaurant was actually on NE Broadway at 3907, right where NE Sandy Blvd and NE Broadway cross (essentially at 39th Avenue) in the Hollywood District.
I was hired by Hal Hulbert and Stan Prouty in early June, 1959 as the first busboy at Poor Richard's. They had worked at the Crab Broiler at the Seaside/Cannon Junction before going out on their own at Poor Richard's. It was a booming success for years.
