With the original Morrison Bridge.

Actually, that isn't the original Morrison Street Bridge. The bridge in the picture was built in 1905. The original bridge at the location was built in 1887.

The bridge in the photo wasn't built to carry autos, but was intended for streetcars. So, the 1958 replacement Morrison Street Bridge was long overdue, especially since streetcars had been taken out of service a couple of years before the current bridge was finished.
