Above the Embers was "Wayne"s Billiard Academy" where I could be found
after a day of selling shoes at Nordstrom's, honing my skills with a young Fritz Johnson, later of "Trans Pac" fame and many other NW hustlers like "Fly Boy" who would fly down from Seattle for many late night big money matches!
