After losing Korsuns, Roses, Dave’s Deli, Goldberg’s this is non existent in our town. Some mention a joint on 23rd. No cigar. This sandwich is served magnificently at Sherman’s Deli in Palm Springs & Palm Desert. Best in the nation.

Really? Why would anyone want this sandwich? It's so thick that if you have a normal sized mouth you could never wrap your teeth around it. Plus the four slices of bread would provide 15 to 20 percent of your daily carb intake (for adult males) and almost 300 calories. I also can't imagine turkey and pastrami going together. Pass.

Everything they put on a plate is spectacular. Their bakery is one of the best in the country. Even in summer when the town is empty and 119 degrees, there’s a wait

It looks delicious, and it would likely last me a week...but I'd have to eat it with a knife and a fork...no way I could take a bite otherwise...
