I occasionally watch old episodes of You Bet Your Life on YouTube. It's amazing some of the comments Groucho got away with. But what is clear is that there was only one, and only ever will be one, Groucho.
Rather than Jay Leno, how about Iliza Shlesinger, Stephanie Miller, Jody Miller, or Natasha Leggero. Any of these woman comics is much more in the mold of Groucho Marx. At least it isn't Ricky Gervais.
