The name on this thing is "Nestle Aristocrat" permanent wave machine.
In 1906 Charles Nessler also known as Charles Nestle invented the permanent wave machine to curl hair in the early decades of the 20th century until the 1940's. The machine used water, chemicals and heat to curl hair and recreate the look of naturally curly or wavy hair.
