City Liquidators is still under the Morrison Bridge. I wouldn't know if it still advertises in the O, but it has certainly become a major advertiser on TV with the ads featuring Walt's kids and his wife Pam. It has also become a ginat furniture store and pretty well has dropped the image of a giant junk emporium.

When I worked at KXL, I interviewed Walt and Pam (she was carrying child number one at the time) for a series on discount shopping. At the time one of its biggest items was stacking chairs for churches and meeting facilities.

I've bought a few chairs from City Liquidators.

I used to browse the store years ago. It was fascinating.

Are they still running tv adverts? I know their antique store went down, nearer the Ross Island. One of the daughters from a prior marriage was 'running' it, she was a CASA
