Loved it. The bathroom still had those interesting machines. One night, my beautiful, fun, and funny step-mother-in-law stuck some quarters in to get us "gifts"!

Mr. Badkitty's blues band used to play there. Sigh...

Chinook Jargon for My People.

I was last at the Tilly in 2002. It was clearly in decline then, a lot of no name bands and it closed at 11 pm on weeknights, midnight on Friday and Saturday. In its heyday the Tilly was so packed it was hard to move around, but the last night I was there tables were available right in front of the band.

Kind of sad. For a spot that had a history going back to 1870, it was clearly dying.
