Those are some fancy cakes -- especially the one featuring the kind of shoe that Carrie Bradshaw paid upwards of $500 a pair for. Unfortunately, NE 19th & Broadway is a little out of my neighborhood and since the fall of 2004, I don't eat sweets anyway.

Where do I begin, how about three generations of weddings in our family came from Helen’s. Amazing that two families owned the bakery all these years. We love it. Thanks for showcasing them in such a positive light. They truly deserve our support. Their quality and service are best in the city.

Will stop by. They did our wedding cake in 1967.

What a great magical shop it is. Been going since I was a kid. I’m 69 years old now.

They baked our wedding cake in 1977! Had to have it delivered a day ahead as we got married downtown in a church and it was Rose Festival Parade day that morning. It was beautiful and was perfect.

Oh thank the stars, thought you were going to tell us they were closing their business. Yes, love Helen's. Best decorated cakes!
