The accordion has been the object of derision over the years, but there's a lot of surprisingly good music that uses the accordion to great advantage. Tejano, Tex-Mex, Western Swing, and Zydeco wouldn't be the same without the accordion. So, as bad as this album is/was, let's not completely toss the instrument.
I also remember when Nona Emilia Restaurant in Aloha had a strolling accordionist who like Benny Homan came to your table and played a tune or two.

My cousin played the accordion. Performed at the State Fair one year back in the 60s so we all had to go and see him. Probably still a Kodachrome slide somewhere in a box in our basement.
