I'm a boomer and I don't remember the campaign. I also don't recall Reddy Kilowatt as a mascot for PGE. I thought he belonged to PP&L.

But my father and his father worked for Foster and Kleiser. It used to be that virtually every billboard in town belonged to them.

This billboard dates from 1934-1941 which would be the "Silent Generation" 1927-1945.

I recall Reddy Kilowatt, and Im from the tail of 55..
