It isn't so much that they have their hands out as that they're trying to find people to rent 153,000 square feet of office space and buy the 132 condominiums. I'll betcha that they ask at least five million for the penthouse.
Figuring that the "one city block" of sidewalks will immediately be populated by tents, those sidewalks will become toilets, and the street will be a dump, it will probably make it harder to fill the building.

2 years ago...absolutely...nothing could go wrong....then came one after another business and personal tax hikes, riots, plundering, tents, zombie people, top runners of either Wheeler or Sarah, and Covid....today...not a chance.
