The start of Rose Festival Grand Floral parade at Multnomah stadium on Friday June 10, 1949 (yes it was on Friday). This float was entered by Portland Fire Bureau Engine 25 and shows Woody Woodpecker wearing fireman's helmet and pecking through a roof to ventilate.
