This is not the same front page of the Oregonian in the online archives for November 24, 1963. Headline is "Oswald Faces Mounting Evidence" and story in right reads "Pictures Link Infamous Rifle to Jailed Red"

If you look at the masthead there is 1 Star which must be the earliest edition printed before the fact were more clear. The headline from the archive I looked at has 6 stars which I think means it was the 6th edition on that day.

DG is correct. The One Star was - in the old days when The O was a genuine newspaper - printed and distributed to newsstands on Saturday morning.
