I never knew Mayor Riley when losing to our first female Mayor, Dorothy Lee McCullough & bought the dealership renaming it Earl Riley Packard. Here’s a photo of Earl as Mayor on a bike in front of City Hall.

Earl Riley Packard closed in November of 1953, but the used car lot at Union Ave. (MLK) & Weidler remained open to sell remaining vehicles.
Oregonian Journal December 11, 1953
Fred Meyer has purchased the building formerly occupied by Earl Riley Packard company at 2063 W Burnside st. Plans are to convert the building for use by specialty shops.
Advertisements for this building shows that it became "West Side Dodge" thru the end of 1959.
