Overall, yesterday was a shitty day for cryptocurrency. Flynn's campaign was largely financed by Arizona crypto investor Sam Bankman-Fried and 3rd place finisher Cody Reynolds, who has made a fortune investing in crypto, loaned his campaign two million and added another half million in contributions.
The two spent the lion's share on Oregon's new 6th Congressional District and sucked hind tit in 2nd and 3rd. Winner Andrea Salinas doubled Flynn's vote total. So much for big bucks in politics.

Samuel Bankman-Fried is a baby-faced, 30-year-old crypto billionaire. He has dropped $19 million dollars into Democratic House campaigns for candidates he believes will stop another pandemic. $10.5 million of that amount was spent to promote Flynn's losing effort.
$19 million to stop another pandemic? Since we tend to go about 100 years between pandemics, I wonder what he thinks he's going to stop?
