That’s for sure, and for the better. It was time. Just for fun, at our New Year’s Eve gathering last night after watching ABC coverage of the ball drop in NYC, we looked up a You Tube video of a 1976 celebration with Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians atop the Waldorf Astoria and Auld Lang Syne. He hung on a little too long, I believe. 40+ years. Time marches on.
