Although I've lived here for over 75 years, I don't recall when this "growth spurt" took place at Pdx.
Note the "airporter" parked in the second photo. It appears to me to be a 1956-1959 Chrysler Corp product....Dodge, maybe Chrysler. Makes me think this was in the late 1950's - - early 1960's.
A friend of mine in the old car hobby who lives in Reno has a 1955 Chevrolet "airporter." All restored and dolled up like it would have been back in the day. It always draws a lot of attention at Hot August Nights in August in Reno/Sparks.
