Mr Stump newspaper archives of ads show that Lowe's Coffee Shop was at the address on the postcard from 1934-1950. From 1950-1963 newspaper ads show the business at 1810 NW Lovejoy was Oak Pit BBQ. The next business I found for this address was Rossini's 1810 Culb in 1968.
A newspaper story from August 1930 reported Lowe's Inc. had signed a 10 year lease at NW 18th & Lovejoy on a 50' x 100' lot where the would build a new restaurant.--- A news story 1 year later in August 1931 reported there was an armed robbery at Lowe's BBQ at 18th & Lovejoy.
Now a beautiful surface parking lot. If there's a stupid use for valuable downtown real estate, it's surface parking.
