I don't know that I ever saw a Buick cop car. Does anyone know if there was ever a police package offered by Buick? Let's hear from a car aficionado.

Joel for 1955 Buick built 270 Buick Century model 68 cars for the CHP, with some having an automatic trans. and other having a 3 speed trans.
If you google this model you can read more. 10-4

It sounds like some kind of tie-in with the show since -- although it was never said -- Highway Patrol was usually thought to be the CHP.
