On East Burnside between SE 12th & SE 13th

Jack Hurd was known as "Just Plain Jack" on KLIQ because management didn't want him to use his real name.
Hurd had been involved in some less than scrupulous activities around town, and station management asked him not to use his real name. Someone suggested that he use just plain Jack, and that was how his air name was born.
