The "Cat'N Fiddle" opened on March 23, 1912 @ 145 7th st. -- between Alder & Morrison. (7th street became Broadway I think in 1913)

"Cat'N Fiddle" Introduces to Portland a New Kind of a Candy and Lunch Shop.

The "Cat'N Fiddle" closed at midnight on September, 24, 1921 after the theaters closed, but the "Cat" Fiddle" reopened with new owners on December 22, 1922 @ Alder & Park.

The Cat'N Fiddle was located in the Dolph building @ 615 SW Broadway or as it is known today the Charles F Berg building. After the Cat'N Fiddle left the Dolph building the space was remodeled and opened in late October 1921 as "Sweet Sixteen" a women's ready to wear store with $16 being the price of most items.
