Are there any Connies still flying?

It looks like there is one survivor in airworthy condition that is in Australia, that appears on the airshow circuit. The plane was delivered to the US Air Force in 1955, and has the current tail number VH-EAG. On YouTube if you enter VH-EAG Super Constellation you can see if fly at a 2022 air show.

Air Legends Foundation recently restored C 121A (Constellation) which was delivered to the US Air Force in 1949 appeared at the Oshkosh air show last week. YouTube also has video.

The aircraft pictured here tail number NC86505 crashed on December 28, 1946. TWA flight 6963 departed Paris Orly airport for Shannon Ireland were it crashed. Including the crew there were 23 onboard with 4 crew members and 5 passengers being killed.

I had the opportunity to get up-close to this EC-121 at the Yanks Air Museum.

It is my understanding that it is one of the future restoration projects that they hope to make air worthy and certified.

Beautiful bird and great museum if you get a chance to visit!
