listened to kisn for years until fm stereo came out, i still listen now at 95.1 very weak signal but still play all the songs i remember.

I remember all my old radios had the terrible heterodyne tone centered at AM 91 which also made listening difficult.

That lovely whine defined KISN for me. It required super fine tuning to get anywhere close to a clear signal.
