We had an IH fridge and freezer. Dad worked for the company and got them on the employee purchase plan.
He had the fridge for over 45 years and the only problem with it was the ratchet door handle was trouble prone. I don’t think he ever had it charged or replaced the compressor.

Fun fact: the fridge on the set of “Friends” was an International Harvester.
