Wow, Vettes are unprotected and the Camaros are hiding behind panels. They only made 6500 pace car replicas in 1978.
Penn Central railroad converted to Conrail 2 years earlier.

For a production run of 6500 these have a high survival rate due to speculation. A regular appearance at auction, and you can find them with extremely low mileage.
