The former Federal Reserve Bank is on the left edge of the photo. The tall building on the right was the phone company.
Note the microwave equipment on the roof.
I noticed the sign for 'Northwest Keypunch'. When casting about for employment in the 70s or 80s I took a class at PCC on keypunch. The teacher was honest enough to tell us that the job was going to fade away but keypunch would still be used for quite a while. I never got a job doing it though.
That stretch of Stark Avenue is now known as Harvey Milk Street. It's another of those conundrums of Portland Street naming in which a street is renamed for someone who had no connection to Portland. It's the same thing as renaming East 39th after Cesar Chavez.
Pietro B's Fed Reserve Bldg right rear.
