Eddie Calvert, "The Man with the Golden Trumpet," is the real deal, not so much in the US, but he was a major performer in the UK pre-Beatles. He scored two number one singles on the British chart in the mid-50s.

Calvert was also popular in Australia and South Africa. In the US, his "Oh Mein Papa" recording reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. As rock became more popular, he moved to South Africa where he continued to perform until his death from a heart attack in 1978. He was 56.

I can't tell from the picture if the car is a Rambler or does the album title just mean he is a rambling performer. Very interesting about how he moved abroad as rock became more popular.
