back in the 90's there was a guy outside the wilsonville thriftway had the best bento i ever had for 3 dollars i dont recall his name i wonder what happened to him he sold out almost everyday.

I'm wondering if Bento has come to mean something else in America. Bento traditionally in Japan is a lunchbox, usually partitioned. Bento typically consists of a starch of either rice or noodles, some kind of vegetable, and some kind of meat or fish. Here, it seems to refer to something like a corn dog served on a bed of rice.

I'm not a fan of Japanese food, so maybe not. I used to date a gal who loved Benihana. I always hated it when she pleaded to go to the Benihana across from Washington Square. You know how it is when the gal you're dating pleads.

Big Dan is the best! His bento is also Top Notch.
