It's hard to know how to feel about Walton. The way he left the Blazers was pretty putrid. He was kind of an entitled weenie, blaming everyone but himself for his problems. But years later, he did apologize, and he accepted much of the responsibility.
He was quite the basketball player though. I've never been a fan of basketball, but I paid attention the year Walton and the Blazers won the title.
Fond memories of the celebration parade, we all ran out of the Morgan Bldg. to the corner of Broadway & Washington just in time to catch all the guys going by, it was exciting.

Blazers kept shooting his feet up with drugs to keep him on the floor. It did unbelievable damage to him.
