a 24 oz t-bone for 2.50???? when was this 1912?

Copies of the menu on eBay & Etsy from 1940's (1948) show $2.50 for a T-bone which would be $32.50 in 2024 dollars.

In 1912 $2.50 would be $77.00 in 2024 dollars.

The location on NW 22nd is now Elephant's Delicatessen.

in the early 80's i spent 19.99 for the 72 ounce steak at saylors, great steak but i took home a 20 once doggie bag. im a stat on the wall though!
