ahh what coulda been but never was, if only the beavers would have stayed there....

John, why would that have made any difference? Do you think that magically the Beavers would have filled the seats at Vaughn Street more than they filled them at Multnomah Stadium?
The Bevos left Portland because they couldn't draw any fans to the park. That was true at Multnomah Stadium, and it would have been true at Vaughn Street or Erv Lind Field.
