This dealership at 300 SE 122nd was built and opened in mid September 1968 as Pontiac Plaza.
Mike Salta was named as a Pontiac dealer in 1969 and was located at 1700 NE Sandy Blvd. until the dealership was then relocated to the former Pontiac Plaza on SE 122nd in July 1971.

Ron Tonkin purchased the Mike Salta dealership in mid February 1984 and gave up the Pontiac franchise. The remaining Pontiac-GMC vehicles were sold by Weston Pontiac in Gresham.
