Dedication of the new $4,000,000 St Johns bridge on June 14, 1931. On that day the Rose Festival parade began at SE Grand Ave. & Hawthorne and traveled north on Grand - Union ave.- West
on Killingsworth etc. to the bridge in St Johns where the politicians dedicated the bridge and festival Queen Rachael cut the ribbon opening the bridges.
