The Diamond Project is in the process of buying the property and plans to build a stadium that will be ready when MLB exapnds in the latter part of the decade. In any event, it will be a stadium that will outclass Providence Park. Maybe the Timbers and Thorns will play there.
No, it will not bring the AAA Beavers back to Portland. It is clear that Portland doesn't want the Beavers, unless that name is picked for the new MLB club.
I assume this property is the "Zidell Yards"? Good luck Portland, the Diamond Project is seven years old now and needs a successful closure.
