This location was taken over by Portland State University,and Lydia's relocated to 18330 E Burnside in April 1971.

I loved Lydia's - I went to PSC (now PSU) in the very early '60s and I had my first (legal) alcoholic beverage there the day I turned twenty-one. There were several shops along that block of 11th Avenue back before PSU expanded and took over the whole neighborhood. But, progress took its toll and now it is all just a part of PSU's beautiful campus.
