KOIN radio sign on the Heathman Hotel roof where their studios were located from 1927 until 1955 when the began TV broadcast.
On the right the Oregonian building built 1947. The traffic island at SW Columbia requiring a right turn marked the southern most point of one-way traffic in downtown Portland, which began in February 1950.
