The USS Blueback arrived in Portland in late February 1994, and was dry docked at Swan Island to prepare for it for exhibit at OMSI. The propeller was removed, and an access door was was cut into the hull, which can be seen on the side. In early May 1994 this photo taken as it was towed to OMSI.

My father was instrumental in bringing the Blueback to Portland.
