If you go to "The Portland Diamond Project" website you will see several renderings of the proposed ballpark. The site shown here on the renderings depicts a high rise building of possibly condo's or apartments. The ballpark is shown being sandwiched between the Ross Island bridge & Tilikum crossing bridge. I don't see any type of parking lot, or structure for the ballpark, but it shows hundreds of people walking, biking, or even in wheel chairs crossing Tilikum crossing to the ballpark.

The Portland Diamond Project has been claiming that Portland has all but wrapped up MLB for Portland for seven years. Are we any closer to it today than in 2018, when the Diamond Project was created? Now they're saying they could break ground on a new stadium at the Zidel location in 2027.

I'd love to see major league ball in Portland (No. Not a return of the PCL Beavers, John) but are these the guys who are going to do it? They've had numerous proposals for ballparks all over town. Nothing has taken. Maybe another team could do a better job.
